Welcome to Wikipsilocybin
Psilocybin is the main active compound in "magic mushrooms." Some people will use it whether or not anyone tells them to. Harm reduction means giving those people honest, accurate safety information — the same way schools teach fire safety without encouraging anyone to start fires.
Every page here is written in plain language, cites published research, and follows a public editorial policy. Our goal is to be the reference that health educators, universities, and families can point to.

Why this site exists
Most drug information online is either marketing or fear. Marketing hides the risks. Fear gets ignored. Research shows that honest harm reduction education works better than both.[1] This site takes no side on whether anyone should use psilocybin. It only cares that fewer people get hurt.
